saturday, may 3 - zurich, switzerland (again!)
gig was cool last night... lost our hotel room again though. the venue in konstanz was a really neat stage/room and a great backstage.... up a metal staircase/cage kind of thing... very rockstar. i felt like i was in metallica walking down to play the show. i played ron's fender lead at the gig and it worked out well. a few things i can't do without the neck pickup on my tele, but it's a hell of an easy guitar to play. i met a girl that lived in chicago for a few years, and was there with her friend to see US, the opening band! haha. a guy in chicago knew who we were and suggested that she check us out in konstanz. then we found out we lost our hotel AGAIN, asked a few poeple if we could crash, no luck... so we drove back into zurich to stay with patrizia again. had a good night navigating for ron and keeping eachother awake. patrizia and danya were so accommodating in zurich... great people. ron and i ran this morning too. he's much more in shape than i am, but i made it. he has run 29 marathons in his life or something. impressive. i'm really starting to like uncle ho. great band, cool guys.
