i had a great week with the churchills. we recorded 'hey hey' for a compilation that's being done by our japanese label. it was recorded once before, this time around a bit more melodic in approach and we're really happy with the energy it has. i also recorded the drum track for 'never gonna find me', which will be on the new record.
it's pretty much been decided that the follow up to latitudes will be under a the name 'the lightbox exhibit'. i've had a lot of band names in the past, and the band names pretty much died when the bands broke up, so i thought i'd name the solo project and save a lot of trouble. plus, it's difficult to do things with stickers, posters, t-shirts and live shows with my name. it'd be different if i had a cool name like, david gray, or damien rice, or rufus wainwright,, or uh... 50 cent. anyway, i'm going to start working on the website in the next couple weeks. i'll keep this one posted about that. that's all for now.
